"To get justice in a short time, at a low cost; Let's go to the village court" was the theme of the divisional conference titled 'Role of local administration in activating village courts and what to do' held today on 22nd February at the conference room of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Agrabad, Chittagong.

The conference was chaired by Divisional Commissioner, Chittagong Dr. Md. Ziauddin and was attended by Additional Secretary of the Local Government Department and National Project Director of ADCB (Phase 3) Mr. A.K.M. Tariqul Alam as the chief guest.

Also present were Additional Divisional Commissioner (General) and Director (Local Government) Mr. Muhammad Anwar Pasha, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Chittagong Mr. Farida Khanam, Deputy Commissioner (South) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Mr. Hossain Mohammad Kabir Bhuiyan, officials of the divisional and district administration and Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries, among others.
