CNG auto rickshaws can be rented from Chittagong city to Bhatiary directly at 150 to 200 Tk. If you want to go to Bhatiary on a FFpublic bus, ride a bus from the Alongkar City Gate area. Rent will vary from Tk 15 to Tk 20.

Bhatiary union is located in the southern part of Sitakunda upazila, just 15 kilometers away from Chittagong city. Bhatiary is full of natural beauty with green mountains, crystal clear lake water, army-controlled golf courses. Security is also very high as the entire area is controlled by the army. Bhatiary Golf & Country Club is the second largest golf club in Bangladesh. It is one of the places of tourist attraction in Sitakunda, which is surrounded by natural lakes and hills. Located in the foothills, the golf course measures about 6500 yards in length. The club provides its members and guests with a quality golfing experience within a friendly and welcoming environment in one of the best courses of the country. The club has around 800 members. The natural surroundings of the course have made it one of the most beautiful courses in Bangladesh. Various national and international golf tournaments held throughout the year at this golf course. There is a sculpture of golfer in front of the club. By driving a few minutes at Bhatiary-Hathazari road visitors will get the thrilling experience of hills. There is a pair of lakes on both sides of the road. Water overflows in the Bhatiary Lake during rainy season and tourists come to enjoy here. Tourists can take a boat ride if they want. They can also go for fishing in the lake with rods in exchange for a specific amount. Different types of trees and animals are seen here. There is an extraordinary facility for tourists to watch the sunset from Bhatiary Sunset Point. Although this area is under the control of Bangladesh Military Academy, tourists can visit this area subject to prior approval of the appropriate authorities.
