Chattogram Court Building is a big architecture on the peak of a high hill known as Parir Pahar or Fairy's Hill in Chattogram. The construction of the building was started in 1892 and was completed in 1898. The building is an example of Indo-British style of architecture developed in Bengal. It is not protect under the laws for heritage conservation.

Court building embodies both European and Mughal traditions with a few decorative indigenous motifs. The Mughal Mosque architecture has a profound impact on its plan. The topography of the site clearly dictated the other technical aspect of the plan. It was mainly laid in a rectangular form running east-west. The eastern end has a major north-south extended wing. The hilly depression was adjusted in the eastern wing of two storey building by constructing a three-storey portion on the northern end. This wing of the building has a richly decorated arched opening to access from the east. The western end of the main building has an extension towards south. The levels of the floors received meticulous attention from the builder. The walls are made of brick lime-mortars and each are three feet wide. There are two towers on the North-East and North-West corner. Inside the towers, three are two spiraling staircases. The towers on the either side are capped with Mughal style domes and four miniature cupolas at corners.

The facade of the building is mainly an assemblage of arches, incorporated into multiple settings and arrangements. The array of arches, the wedge-shaped masonry, is self-supporting with ample capacity to take weight imposed on it. Each true arch on the ground floor veranda supports a twin arch on the first floor with a set of three small-corbelled arches in between. The rainwater drainage pipe from roof is placed between the two sets of arches and under cornice moldings. The southern facade of the building has two more richly decorated arched openings in the center.

Chattogram Court Building accommodates the Civil Courts, Criminal Courts and the offices of the Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and the District and Session Judges. The building and its surroundings are now an important place of tourist attraction.
